Op. Dr. Abdülkadir Göksel comes from a three-generation family of physicians in Gaziantep. He graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty, and completed his residency in Ear, Nose, Throat, and Head & Neck Surgery at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. He has an advanced level of English.

From his early residency years, he focused particularly on facial plastic surgery, with a primary interest in functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty. He has trained with leading surgeons around the world and continues to refine his expertise in this field.

Dr. Göksel has been invited many times to national and international congresses across Asia, Europe, Australia, and America to share his experience in aesthetic rhinoplasty, nasal tip aesthetics, and revision rhinoplasty. Believing that knowledge gains value when shared, he actively participates in these meetings. Every year, assistant and specialist physicians from many countries visit his operating room to observe his surgeries and learn his unique rhinoplasty techniques.

He serves as chair and co-chair of the Rhinoplasty Istanbul Workshop and the Structure Preservation Rhinoplasty meetings, both held in Istanbul every two years. These scientific meetings have gained worldwide recognition with high attendance and participation from leading experts. In addition, he offers an exclusive “Live Surgery with Dr. Göksel” course for a limited number of rhinoplasty surgeons every six months.

Op. Dr. Abdülkadir Göksel holds the European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (EBCFPRS) diploma and serves as General Secretary of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). He is also a member of the European Rhinoplasty Society (ERS), the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the Turkish ENT and Head & Neck Surgery Association, the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association, the Turkish Rhinology Association, the Turkish ENT Foundation, and the Istanbul Medical Chamber.

He is a founding member of the International Rhinoplasty Research Society (IRRS), which has limited membership, and an honorary member of the Russian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He serves on the boards of both the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

Dr Göksel sees his patients at RinoIstanbul Clinic, which he founded in Istanbul.
